Local information

This is a fairly large friendly village. Mainly Spanish residents with a small number of foreigners. One, an Englishman, lives two doors away. Gandia the second city of the Valencian region with its renowned Saturday market is just a 7 minute drive away; as is the N332 which is the main arterial road running through the coastal areas of Spain from Barcelona down via Valencia, Gandia and on through the Costas to Denia, Javia, Calpe, Benidorm and all places south.

To the north/west are the towns of Albaida (some 25 klm) on the way to the very historic but sophisticated town of Xativa with its magnificent Castle dominating the local country side.

The Autopista E15 which gives you motorway access to the whole of Spain has a junction within 15 minutes of the property giving fast access to both the main southern airports. Alicante is within an hour's drive. Valencia just a 45 minute train ride from Gandia.

La Sella golf, tennis and horse riding are within a 40 minute drive, as is the new Denia Marriott Hotel with its superb facilities including a luxury Health Spa
